In the Cosmos, an unusual event has occurred. 
Taking a break from their latest triumph over Faust and the Spiral Core, Ginga and Co find themselves saving a boy named Yuki from a mysterious youth named Johannes. Although Yuki is a boy genius and an astronomer, he is a Blader who owns &ldquo;Anubius&rdquo;. 
Yuki says that he has come to tell Ginga and his friends about the voice of the Star Fragment. He witnessed the Star Fragment (a meteor) fall from the sky one day. That single light dwells within Anubius and he says that he heard the voice of the Star Fragment that evening. A great evil is trying to revive the &ldquo;Black Sun&rdquo; and "Nemesis", the god of destruction, by using the unknown power of the Star Fragment and destroy the world. 
Ginga and his friends must fight again, just as soon as they get the hang of their new 4D system beys!

Note: From the 27th episode onwards, the Japanese episodes were reduced to fifteen minutes. In the dub, two fifteen minute episodes are paired to make a thirty minute episode to make 39 total episodes.

After defeating Ryuga and his dark Bey L-Drago, Gingka is crowned the winner of the Battle Bladers Championship. When news gets out, other bladers from around the world want their chance at defeating Gingka and capturing the title of number one Beyblader. The WBBA, now headed by Ryo, calls a global competition enlisting top representatives from each country to compete.

Seven years after the Nemesis Crisis, much of the world has been devastated and ruined after the tragic fighting. As a result, most people lost faith and interest in Beyblading. Tsubasa Ootori, who became leader of the WBBA, made it his life goal to ensure humanity could restore itself, as well as restore the popularity of Beyblading. Together with the mechanic Madoka Amano, he created the Zero-G battling style as a result, and hopes a new generation of bladers will rise up to accept the sport once again. One of these is a teenager named Zero Kurogane, who aims to become the top blader after having a destined encounter with the hero of the Nemesis Crisis, Ginga Hagane.
