"Angel's Hill" is a fantasy story depicting the stormy life of a mermaid princess, Luna. 
Luna is put into a seashell and floated out to the sea because she breaks the rules of the Angel's Island. She is then rescued by humans aboard a ship but sold as a slave. She loses her memory and is treated very badly. Then comes Eiji, the son of the rich Kusahara family. He saves Luna and takes her to Japan. Surprisingly, Luna and Eiji's younger sister, Akemi, look as alike as if they were twins. Akemi, who has a perverse nature, turns into Luna on a whim. Akemi is kidnapped and taken to Angel's Island with Eiji. There, Akemi is almost offered as a sacrificial offering by a female shaman, Pyoma. Meanwhile, Eiji meets Soleiu, Luna's older sister, and together they get involved in the secrets of the island.

The story begins as a handgun shootout rages between two pilots from opposing countries that have been shot down and forced to land in a wasteland near the Himalayan Mountains. As they continue firing at one another, they notice the sudden appearance of a tiger carrying a human baby in its jaws. The two agree to a truce while they rescue the baby. After the tiger is dispatched the two make a gentleman’s agreement that whoever survives the shootout will look after the baby, and resume their conflict. In the end, the Japanese soldier prevails, but when he collects the baby, he is surprised to find it has a massive tail. Naming the baby Rikiya, or “Ricky” for short, he is brought back to Tokyo and raised as a human being, despite being one of the “Zero Men” – an advanced underground civilization of squirrel-like beings that live under the Himalayas. Two meteorites fell to earth – one with a giant robot inside and one with a small boy. The robot was taken to scientists, and the boy was raised as if human. But unknown to everyone, including the boy, is that they were sent there to test humanity and see if given too much technology they would destroy themselves…


Roppu was a toy abandoned by the child of aliens. He was rediscovered by Roppei, the son of a fisherman. Roppu can fly when the button on his chest on is pressed. Roppu can also create anything, even things thought to be impossible. When the star on his head is pressed, Roppu falls still. Roppu and Roppei have all sorts of adventures, with questionable figures often trying to get their hands on Roppu for their own desires.
 
Volume 2 includes "Bongo" (First Grader version): Bongo is a boy who lives in the jungle and is a master archer entrusted with maintaining peace in the jungle. Bongo learns of a treasure called the Golden Bow, and goes in search of it along with his ally Chap the Squirrel. The two must overcome seven perils to reach it at the Mountain of the Sinking Moon.

Remake of Tezuka's 1948 one shot ''The Mysterious Underground Man'' 
The parents of Isami Nishitani were killed aboard world's first stratospheric rocket ship Luna Park I when the ship exploded. Isami's father was a chemistry professor who left behind a ear of a rabbit which would make the brains of a human work considerably faster. Prof. Frankenstein succeeds in the experiment which transforms the the ear into a human being. Isami, intent on revenging his parents, volunteers as test pilot for earth-penetrating train Luna Park III invented by the designer Sullivan along several other people , including his pet rabbit who was transformed into a human being.
