Goku is back with his new son, Gohan, but just when things are getting settled down, the adventures continue. Goku Son is a young boy who lives in the woods all alone—that is until a girl named Bulma runs into him in her search for a set of magical objects called the "Dragon Balls." Since the artifacts are said to grant one wish to whoever collects all seven, Bulma hopes to gather them and wish for a perfect boyfriend. Goku happens to be in possession of a dragon ball, but unfortunately for Bulma, he refuses to part ways with it, so she makes him a deal: he can tag along on her journey if he lets her borrow the dragon ball's power. With that, the two set off on the journey of a lifetime. 
 
They don't go on the journey alone. On the way, they meet the old Muten-Roshi and wannabe disciple Kuririn, with whom Goku trains to become a stronger martial artist for the upcoming World Martial Arts Tournament. However, it's not all fun and games; the ability to make any wish come true is a powerful one, and there are others who would do much worse than just wishing for a boyfriend. To stop those who would try to abuse the legendary power, they train to become stronger fighters, using their newfound strength to help the people around them along the way.

Emperor Pilaf finally has his hands on the Black Star Dragon Balls after years of searching, which are said to be twice as powerful as Earth's normal ones. Pilaf is about to make his wish for world domination when he is interrupted by Gokuu Son. As a result, Pilaf flubs his wish and accidentally turns Gokuu back into a child. 
 
After the wish is granted, the Black Star Dragon Balls scatter across the galaxy. However, Gokuu discovers that they will cause the Earth to explode unless they are all brought back within a year. Uniting with his granddaughter Pan and a young adult Trunks, Gokuu sets off on an adventure through the universe to find the Black Star Dragon Balls and save his planet from destruction.

Jaga Bada, Mr. Satan's old sparring partner, has invited Satan to his personal island to hold a grudge match. Trunks and Goten decide to come for the adventure and Android #18 is following Satan for the money he owes her. Little do they know that Jaga Bada's scientist have found a way to resurrect Broly, the legendary Super Saiyan.

Not paying attention to his job, a young demon allows the evil cleansing machine to overflow and explode, turning the young demon into the infamous monster Janemba. Goku and Vegeta make solo attempts to defeat the monster, but realize their only option is fusion.

This special introduces four new characters: Abo and Kado red and blue aliens wearing battle fatigues similar to Frieza's army, one tiny yellow alien, and a young Saiyan child who vaguely resembles Vegeta named T&#257;buru. Though very little about the plot has been revealed, Table has arrived on Earth, being pursued by Avo and Cado.

Bardock, Goku's father who was suppose to die when Freeza's attack hit him along with the Planet Vegeta, he was sent way back in time, where the planet was inhabited by a strange creatures. Goku and Frieza may have battled in the manga and anime, but this short tells an original story where Frieza is revived by the Dragon Balls. Vegeta and other characters will appear on Goku's side. The show will be in 4D, so guests will be able to feel shocks and splashes that correspond with the 360-degree 3D CG animation.

"Orb Panic Adventure!" is a special crossover story featuring characters from One Piece, Dragon Ball and Astro Boy. It was created as part of many interactive crossovers screened at special events called Odaiba Boken-Oh to commemorate Fuji TV's 45th anniversary. It has yet to see a home release. In the following year it had a sequel called Kyutai Panic Adventure Returns!

A special that was part of many animated multi-screen Panic Adventure crossovers of Shueisha manga series that have been screened at special events called "Odaiba Boken-Oh" (お台場冒険王; lit. "Odaiba Adventure King") in Japan. These events were held from 2003 to 2008 to commemorate Fuji TV's 45th anniversary. 
 
The crossover was featured exclusively at the Fuji TV headquarters in the Kyutai (orb) section, where smaller screens partially surrounded the audience watching, each showing a point of view, while a bigger one would be used for close-ups.
