KAITO is the second vocaloid that Crypton released. He is often portrayed as a gentle, kind-hearted, easy-going, and somewhat oblivious young man.

KAITO has no official given age but he and [Meiko](https://anilist.co/character/14076/Meiko) are often referred as "Nenchou-gumi" (年長組, The Seniors) compared to Vocaloid2s. He is 5'10" tall. His character item is ice cream.

His voice was provided by the Japanese singer [Naoto Fuuga](https://anilist.co/staff/270355/Naoto-Fuuga).

Set in modern day Shibuya, Ichika Hoshino, a high school girl and street musician, encounters an unknown version of Hatsune Miku after hearing a Miku song that she'd never heard before in a CD store. Ichika learns that this version of Miku is having trouble reaching people with her songs, so together they team up to try to touch the hearts of their audience through music.

KAITO is a Japanese VOCALOID developed originally by Yamaha Corporation and distributed by Crypton Future Media, Inc. He was initially released in February 2006 for the first VOCALOID engine.

His voice is provided by the famous Japanese singer, Naoto Fuuga.

The "Project Sekai Anniversary Festa 2021" event announced on Sunday that production on a mini anime adaptation of Sega's Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku smartphone rhythm game has been green-lit. The 10 planned episodes of Petit Seka (Puchi Seka) will stream for free on YouTube.

In the franchise's story, Hayato Hayasugi, the train-loving son of a train museum curator, accidentally stumbles into his dad's secret research lab one day. Inside he finds the E5 bullet train. As soon as he enters, he hears an announcement that a mysterious enemy, the Bachigami ("bee god"), is attacking the city of New Saitama. Luckily, with the touch of his father's Shinca ("evolve") card, the bullet train he's in transforms into a mighty robot — the Shinkalion E5 Hayabusa. 

In the anime's story, Hayato and other children will serve as conductors to pilot the Shinkalion. The children must work together with the adults of the "Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute" (SUEI) to defeat a monster that looks like a jet black bullet train.

A novice actress, Miku have been appointed the leading role in a play written by a legendary writer.
