
The quietest and sweetest of all the PMK characters, Saya is definitely lovable.  Although Saya is mute, she is able to laugh, softly.  She, like Tetsu, lost her parents when she was younger, but unlike Tetsu, did not have any siblings to take care of her. As a result, she lives and works at Shimabara as an attendant girl, under the wings of Akesato.  Saya cannot speak, but can read and write. She&#039;s also very pretty.

Although traumatized by witnessing the murder of his parents by one of the Choushuu, Ichimura Tetsunosuke's thirst for revenge lead him to desire strength. At the age of 15, Tetsunosuke approached the Shinsengumi, wanting to become one of its members. However, Tetsunosuke lacked the skill, mind and will to emotionlessly cut down whoever threatened peace and the Shinsengumi. Even with the support of his brother Tatsunosuke and his newfound friends of the Shinsengumi, little did Tetsunosuke know the blood and pain he would have to face being part of this historical group.

She is also the best knowing dubbing roles of Korean drama and films, like for Park Shin-hye, Shin So-yul and others. Monica's father is from Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain, and when she was young, her family would often visit there. She would translate for her younger brother some of the European Spanish-dubbed cartoons which included anime like Doraemon and Dragon Ball Z, often imitating the various characters. Monica studied ballet, tap, and jazz, but transitioned to musical theater when was 12. She studied acting through high school as well as college at the University of Houston. She's cited voice actor inspirations from The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Beavis and Butt-head. She was working on a theater show with Jason Douglas, who suggested she audition for ADV Films. Her first voice-over role was a walla in the 1999 dub of Martian Successor Nadesico.
