Hashimoto Shun, a gay novelist in the making, lived on the island Okinawa with his family. On Okinawa, he met a boy named Chibana Mio, who later left to pursue his studies for three years. When he returned, he confessed his attraction to Shun and developed a relationship with him.

Originally from Hokkaido, he moved to Okinawa to live with his grandmother after his parents discovered his sexual orientation.

After coming out to his parents, aspiring novelist Shun Hashimoto has no one to turn to, until the day he meets high schooler Mio Chibana on the beach.
