Saki is a young girl working hard as rookie idol with her childhood best friend, [Sakuyo](https://anilist.co/character/125370/Sakuyo-Mikage), as part of the idol unit "Magical Twin". Saki has a crush on Sakuyo's brother, [Mohito](https://anilist.co/character/125375/Mohiro-Mikage), and her desire to protect him led her to become a magical girl.

This story is about a 15-year-old girl who is a newbie idol in love with her best friend's brother who is also a popular idol. But she runs into a scary yakuza guy and finds out that her mother was an ex-magical girl, and the yakuza was her mascot. Her love interest gets kidnapped by demons that look like burly men with cute squirrel heads. So she contracts the yakuza to become a magical girl, which in this story means she turns into a handsome guy in a magical girl outfit. On top of that, her love interest shows an attraction toward her magical guy form. Her best friend turns out to be in love with her and also becomes a magical cross-dressing guy to save her life. 

Thus, their manager, who is a magical girl geek, then decides to turn them into an idol unit.

A voice actor, singer, and the drummer of [Poppin'Party](https://anilist.co/staff/153185/PoppinParty). Ayaka was born in Saitama Prefecture but moved to Tokyo after kindergarten. She became part of a theater company in elementary school and appeared in commercials, stage productions, and TV dramas. After receiving some voice acting lessons in the company, she realized that she wanted to become a voice actress. She got scouted in 2011 by Horipro and began her career. In August 2014, she debuted as a singer with her single "YES!!", which was used as the opening theme for the anime _Sabagebu!_.

Her hobbies includes karaoke as well as watching anime, drumming, browsing the internet, gaming, watching sports, and reading light novels. She had drumming skills prior to joining the _Bang Dream_ franchise. Ayaka loves heavy metal and shares her love together with her mother, who used to sing Marilyn Manson's songs for her as lullabies. Her favorite bands are Evanescence, Papa Roach, and Slipknot.
