Marcille is mage who is part of Laios' party. She is an elf from the Northern Continent.

~!She is actually half-elf and half tall-man. Her mother is an elf, and father was a tall-man who passed away when Marcille was young.!~

Marcille is kind, intelligent, principled, and loyal to her friends. However, she can also be very high-strung and has a difficult time dealing with things far outside her comfort zone (such as eating monsters). She has a lot of confidence in her magic ability due to her background, and can feel lonely when she's unable to help the party. She was one of the best students at the Magic Academy, where she joined the research program specializing in dungeon-making; this is where she met Falin, and is still her closest friend to this day. Marcille can also be a bit naive at times, believing that friendships alone can keep a party together.

When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions...and a member! They're eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they're sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: "Let's eat the monsters!" Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons...none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
