Kotetsu Tatejima is Kohane's classmate. She is shy and constantly recedes from any risk of drawing attention, but is very frank about what she thinks. She doesn't think very highly of her given name.

The story follows Kohane Hatoya, a 1st year high school student who is a bit clumsy and scared of heights but who has a very bubbly and outgoing personality. Kohane decides to join the cheerleading club to try to make friends and overcome her weaknesses.<br><br>
