~!Her most prominent ability is to memorize things and associated them with particular shading of colors. In the opening scene of the film, she is seen holding a sliding card holder arranged into five different colors (those of which are the colors that is often seen in Curaçao liquor, her namesake) when she infiltrated the Public Security Bureau Office. The combination of those colors are seen again as the color projected to the sky that is visible from the ferris wheel of Touto Aquarium, which cause Curaçao to slip the name of the NOC agents in front of the Detective Boys on the first time she saw them and still under amnesia!~

On a dark night, the Japanese police is raided by a spy. Different countries' intelligence agencies—such as England's MI6, Germany's BDN, and America's CIA—as well as the FBI's secret files are going to be taken, but public safety officers lead by Tooru Amuro arrive just in time. The spy steals a car and escapes. The spy and Amuro are then locked in a dead heat on the highway, and just as it is about to cause an accident with multiple cars, the spy's car is hit by FBI agent Shuichi Akai's rifle bullet and falls off the roadway. 
 
The next day, Conan and his friends go to a newly-remodeled aquarium in Tokyo. Under the main attraction, a Ferris wheel, Conan finds an attractive woman alone and injured. Her left and right eyes are different colors. 
 
But the woman is in a state of amnesia where she doesn't even remember her own name, and the cellphone she's carrying is broken. Conan and his friends promise to help her regain her memory, so they stay with her. 
 
Throughout all this, Vermouth is watching behind the scenes. Afterwards, she pulls out a silencer and speaks into an attached intercom, "It's as planned, Gin."

Amami joined the Takarazuka Revue in 1987 and retired from the stage company in 1995. Amami was the youngest actress in the company's history to be cast in a top male role. As an otokoyaku (男役, male role), she belonged to the Moon Troupe (Tsuki).

She was involved in various famous musicals when she was in the company, including Gone With the Wind, where she starred as Rhett Butler, and Me and My Girl. After resigning from the company, she continued to work as a TV and movie actress.

In May 2013, Amami suffered a mild heart attack after performing in the stage production L’honneur de Napoleon at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre. Although she wanted to return, she decided to bow out of the role on her doctor's advice and wrote a letter of apology to her fans.
