Like most Tristain nobles, she has a great deal of pride. She is Louise's classmate.  She is named after the Montmorency family, one of the oldest and most distinguished families in France.

Louise is a magician at the Tristein Academy, dubbed with the nickname "Zero Louise" due to her inability to effectively use her magic properly, resulting in zero successes. An upcoming test at her academy requires her to summon a familiar, a servant and partner to support her as a magician. Despite desiring a familiar that would be superior to her constantly mocking classmates, Louise ends up summoning Hiraga Saito, your average Japanese boy. Even with Louise and Saito both unwilling to accept each other, they have no choice. Louise cannot attempt another summoning and Saito cannot return to Japan, and so their life together begins. Based on the novel by Noboru Yamaguchi.

Mikako Takahashi is a Japanese voice actress and J-Pop singer.  As the Excel Saga character Mikako Hyatt, she forms one half of the voice acting duo The Excel Girls (the other half being Yumiko Kobayashi). She is employed by I'm Enterprise. She is also the best knowing dubbing roles of Korean drama and films, like for Park Shin-hye, Shin So-yul and others. This sequel is a continuation of the previous season, not long after the war. Louise and Saito seemingly getting along now since she knows that he had given up his only chance to return to Tokyo for her. The story continues as Louise begins to use Void Magic from a mysterious secret book she had recieved from her majesty Henrietta, while a new villain has appeared in town causing trouble.

In a world where sorcery reigns supreme, bumbling witch-in-training Louise Francoise le Blanc de La Valliere is known by her classmates at the Tristain Academy of Magic as “Louise the Zero.” During an important coming-of-age ritual, when each student must summon a lifelong familiar, Louise proves herself klutz when she mistakenly conjures a teenage boy from Earth. Now, whether they like it or not, Louise and her unwilling servant, Saito, are bound to each other by the laws of magic for all eternity!
