Reiko Satouin, real name Reiko Sato, is a supporting character. She is a student who attends Takafuji Academy and she is the vice captain of the Flying Circus team.

Reiko is an self-proclaimed "ojou-sama" who is fixated on ruining the reputations of different academies for some unknown reasons. She has self-confidence, and is shown to have a lot of pride and a bit of chuuni in her. She is also a very popular person despite her dominant laughter and mannerism. However, she's always there to raise everyone’s mood during tournaments, but she also has her own serious moments.

The story is set on an archipelago of four islands far south of Japan or even the South Seas. It is all but a different world from modern Japan. From the discovery of anti-gravitons came the dream invention of anti-graviton shoes that let people fly the skies. They introduce people to a new realm by enabling flight with just one's own body strength, without feathers or engines. This led to the rise of the sport of "Flying Circus".<br>

The protagonist who once hoped for a future in this sport suffered a setback due to an overwhelming defeat, and withdrew from the sport for this and some other reason. However, he met the transfer student Asuka Kurashina, and in teaching her to fly the skies, the old passion returned. He takes part in the Flying Circus again.

On September 1, 2016, Office Osawa announced that Taneda would put her career on hiatus to focus on treatment for her throat, various roles she done were recast during this time such as Erina Nakiri from Food Wars who was replaced by Hisako Kanemoto from Season 3 and onwards.

On August 4, 2017, Office Osawa announced that her treatment was successful and she would gradually return to voice acting.
