One of the teachers at Fleurir Confectionery Academy whose specially is making chocolate confections. He is often called the "prince of chocolate." His family owns Lecran a pastry shop which is popular for its confectioneries. Even the school's headmaster, Minagawa, is a frequent customer.

An adaptation of the game with the same name has been announced. The original story follows Sayuri Haruno, a girl who attends an elite confectionery school Fleurir on a scholarship to follow her dream to open a pastry shop. There she meets several charming young men.

Commonly referred to as Kakkii by fans, Kakihara is a voice actor and a singer. As the latter, he is a member of Kiramune (music label) and represents the color of green. He was inspired to become a voice actor by [Yuuji Ueda](https://anilist.co/staff/95058/Yuuji-Ueda)'s performance in the Tokimeki Memorial dating sim game, and moved from Germany to Japan at age 18 to pursue his dream.

Kakihara speaks Japanese, English and German.
