Mythos is the mysterious leader of the hacker group Logos, providing Willwears to unstable or desperate people in order to provoke chaos, and the self proclaimed enemy of Unit 8. He's shown to be quite the formidable hacker and both Rin and Madoka was surprised at his skill. He is the main antagonist of this series.

Mythos appears to be very calm and collected in most situations and is usually seen smiling.
~!His real name is Tomohisa. When he was a young boy, he was a member of a cult. His parents led the cult in a mass suicide. Due to the infamy of the incident, Mythos's sister moved abroad, but he was not allowed to follow her. Feeling trapped by a society which failed him, he founded Logos, seeking to bend Japan to his own will.!~

An original anime set in a part of Tokyo that has descended into a quagmire, the story follows Unit 8 of the 5th Special Public Security Section's 3rd Mobile Assault Division — popularly called "The Eighth" — who don powered armor "Willware" exoskeletons to counter the rise in crime. Assistant inspector Asami Kazari is assigned to The Eighth with the task of assessing the unit's status and reporting it to her superiors. But her true goal is to rehabilitate this sloppy, haphazard, justice-less group.
