Kuronue was first seen in the Yu Yu Hakusho movie: Poltergeist Report.  Kurama recodnised him from the past as his partner while thieving.  During the theft of a mirror, a bamboo spear pierced through the bat demon's favorite necklace which appears to be made of ruby and gold.  Despite Youko's cry of protest Kuronue went back after it and was pierced through the major arteries with bamboo spears, utterly ending his life. Houchuu Ootsuka is a Japanese voice actor and narrator affiliated with the talent management firm Crazy Box. 

He is best known for his roles as the voices of Kyao Mirao in Heavy Metal L-Gaim; Yazan Gable in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam; Akira Sendō in Slam Dunk; SignalMan in Gekisou Sentai Carranger; Imagin, Deneb in Kamen Rider Den-O, Abuto in Gintama, Makoto Sōda in Captain Tsubasa and Jiraiya in Naruto. Eric Stuart is an American voice actor and musician who worked for 4Kids Entertainment, NYAV Post, and Central Park Media. Some of his most prominent dubbing roles include Brock and James in Pokémon from seasons 1–8, Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Gourry Gabriev in Slayers.
