She is a voluptuous second-year exchange student from the US who is a member of the Swords of Salvation, when speaking Japanese she would add some English words into her sentence, she also uses common western expressions. During her spare time, she does volunteer work for her church.

The story is set in a private high school that brings together "saviors," youths with awakened memories from past lives. Some of them are Shirogane who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Puraana powers from their own bodies. Others are Kuroma who wipe out enemies, with magic to manipulate the Maana powers that surpass physics. A boy named Moroha Haimura enrolls in this school. He is the first person in history with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.

Machiko Saitou, better known by her stage name Machico, is a Japanese singer and voice actress from Hiroshima Prefecture who is currently affiliated with the Horipro talent agency. 

After participating in an audition organized by Horipro, she made her music debut in 2012, singing a theme song for a PC game. She was cast as the character Tsubasa Ibuki in the mobile game The Idolmaster: Million Live! in 2013. Apart from voice acting, she has performed theme songs for KonoSuba and Age 12. Machico released two albums between 2014 and 2015, and opened her official fanclub in late 2016.
