Gareth Landrock is a first class adventurer and a top executive of the Loki Familia. Gareth is a good natured and kind person, acting as a father figure to members like Bete. Before Gareth joined the Loki Familia, he worked as a miner, working in various mines located in his homeland. He was known for going on business trips to dangerous volcanoes, finding several deposits of silver, and helping with work on an underground tunnel.


Some adventurers delve into the sprawling labyrinths beneath the city of Orario to find fame and fortune. Others come to test their skills against the legions of monsters lurking in the darkness below. However, Bell Cranel’s grandfather told him a different reason: it’s a great place to rescue (and subsequently meet) girls! Now that Bell’s a dungeon delver himself, the ladies he’s encountering aren’t the helpless damsels in distress he’d imagined, and one of them, the beautiful swordswoman Ais Wallenstein, keeps rescuing Bell instead. As embarrassing as that is, it’s nothing compared to what happens when goddesses get involved. Freya, Hephaistos, and Loki, with their powerful Familias, are intimidating enough, but there’s one goddess whose relationship with Bell is certain to spark trouble.

Christopher Owen Ayres was an American voice actor, ADR director and scriptwriter who worked on a number of Japanese anime series at Seraphim Digital/Sentai Filmworks, Funimation, OkraTron 5000 and New Generation Pictures. He got his start voice acting at ADV Films on Kino's Journey as an extra. In anime, he was known as the voice of Frieza from Dragon Ball Z Kai, Kei Kurono from Gantz, Prince Soma from Black Butler, and Shingen Takeda from the Sengoku Basara series. He is also known for Mock Combat for Cosplay panels at anime conventions.
