Ryuusui Nanami is the son of the owner of Nanami Conglomorate. He was revived by Senku for his expertise in sailing. His wisdom about adventuring at sea or air makes him indispensable as one of the Five Wise Generals of the Kingdom of Science.

He was the Heir to the Nanami Conglomerate, and an accomplished sailor. As such, he lived a wealthy and lavish lifestyle. Pre-Stone World, He has been seen as a greedy playboy, rarely seen without the company of beautiful women, exotic sports cars, and excessive partying. While he is arrogant and greedy, it was his greed that fuelled his ambition, which was the cause of his great success pre-Stone World. He spent a great deal of time studying, and was active in ship making, from making small models, to building huge ships. The money he earned, he put toward bettering himself and the company. Senku deduced that his presence would be beneficial to the Kingdom of Science, as his greed does not only apply to himself, but to those around him. He pushes and motivates everyone.

One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he's got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!

Clifford Samuel Chapin IV is an American voice actor and director at Funimation.

Years ago, astronaut Byakuya left behind precious materials in the belief that his son, the scientifically-gifted Senkuu, would one day find them. In the present, the Kingdom of Science's Kohaku and Ginrou have infiltrated the harem of the Petrification Kingdom’s leader with the help of Amaryllis, a local girl. At first, their mission progresses without a hitch. Unfortunately, an error enacted by Kohaku and Ginrou leads Minister Ibara and the Island’s strongest warrior, Moz, to identify the intruding duo as enemies.
 
Even worse, Moz tails Amaryllis when she returns to inform Senkuu of the news, discovering the scientist's secret hideout. However, Moz's agenda does not align with Ibara's—he wants to dethrone the minister and keep the petrification device for himself. If Senkuu plays his cards right, he could gain a powerful ally and win the war once and for all.
