The 26th child of the King of Bengal, Soma came to England with his butler, Agni, in search of a missing servant from his household. When he was young, he received a palace, complete with attendants, from his parents. Among those servants was a woman named Meena, a cook, who he came to see as an older sister. However, one day, Meena disappeared from the palace, leaving Soma devastated.   ~!After the disaster in London, both he and Agni are seen in London, passing out the curry bread Sebastian taught them to make to hungry survivors.!~  Circumstances surrounding Meena's disappearance causes Soma to take his search for her to England, where he accidentally runs into Ciel and Sebastian in the East End. Though originally he orders Agni to fight on the side of the Indian thugs (calling them his "brethren") against Sebastian, when he hears that Ciel did nothing to provoke the thugs, he switches sides for the sake of honor. After the fight, he follows Ciel back to the Phantomhive manor and proceeds to make himself at home. He claims that as an acquaintance of his, under the customs of his home country, Ciel is now required to entertain Soma as a guest. 

In Victorian-era Europe, a young boy loses everything he once held near and dear to a vicious plot. In his moment of death, he strikes a deal with a demon: his soul, in exchange for revenge. Ciel Phantomhive is now the head of the Phantomhive corporation, handling all business affairs as well as the underground work for the Queen of England. His new partner is a demon butler, Sebastian Michaelis, whose powers as a butler is only surpassed by his strength as a demon. 
The story follows the two along with their other servants, as they work to unravel the plot behind Ciel's parents' murder, and the horrendous tragedies that befell Ciel in the month directly after.

Christopher Owen Ayres was an American voice actor, ADR director and scriptwriter who worked on a number of Japanese anime series at Seraphim Digital/Sentai Filmworks, Funimation, OkraTron 5000 and New Generation Pictures. He got his start voice acting at ADV Films on Kino's Journey as an extra. In anime, he was known as the voice of Frieza from Dragon Ball Z Kai, Kei Kurono from Gantz, Prince Soma from Black Butler, and Shingen Takeda from the Sengoku Basara series. He is also known for Mock Combat for Cosplay panels at anime conventions.

This arc immediately follows the Curry Contest Arc in the manga, which ended at episode 15 in the first season of the anime.

At the request of Queen Victoria, Earl Ciel Phantomhive goes to Weston College—a prestigious public academy for boys, known for its traditions and outstanding curriculum—to search for a relative of hers who has not returned home in months. Thanks to his noble status, the 13-year-old Ciel is swiftly able to enroll as a student, while his devilish butler Sebastian Michaelis assumes a teaching position at the school. 
 
Ciel does not anticipate being unable to locate the Queen's relative on campus. To make matters worse, he cannot request a meeting with the headmaster of the college, who may be the only person that knows anything pertaining to the disappearance. The only ones in frequent contact with the headmaster are the heads of the college dormitories, known as the Prefect 4 (P4): Edgar Redmond, Lawrence Bluewer, Herman Greenhill, and Gregory Violet. 
 
Ciel must concoct a plan to get in the P4's good graces if he wants to use their connections to succeed in his mission. But the distinguished college and its students hide much that is unseen, making this task more improbable than he could imagine.

The Phantom Company plans a stage play for the poor children for it's 3rd anniversary since its foundation. But the original theater performers got into a ship accident on their way to London and won't make it in time for the presentation. Faced with this situation Ciel commands Sebastian, "Make the stage play a success". And just like that, Ciel, with his three servants, Lau and Ranmao, Soma and Agni, start rehearsing Hamlet. Even Undertaker and Grell show up for the show, and the rehearsals go on. Will the stage play go through as planned?
