Aloof, defiant, strong, and cool; Pharangese is both a dedicated cleric to the goddess Misra, and the most-skilled female fighter on the planet. She maintains her mystique throughout the course of the story, so that little is known of her personally. According to her own account, she was the most beautiful, intelligent and capable member of her order; when a prediction was made that a servant of Misra must protect Prince Arislan, the other clerics selected her to go, out of jealousy.

It has been announced that Hiromu Arakawa's Arslan Senki manga will bundle OVAs in the fifth and sixth volumes, to be released on May 9 and December 9 respectively. 

Episode 1 (The Road of Blood and Love): Arslan gets to spend some time with Gieve alone, so Gieve decides to tells some interesting stories about Narsus, Daryun and Elam's past love lives.
 
Episode 2 (Banquet of Friendship): The battle between Rajendra and Gadevi has ended. Arslan and the others prepare to leave Shindra but will first spend some time in the castle.

The country of Pars (a dead-ringer, geographically and culturally to ancient Persia) is embroiled in a war with the neighboring country of Lusitania and its religious zealots.
