Gorilla Grodd's time displacement machine transports many of Batman's worst enemies to feudal Japan - along with the Dark Knight and a few of his allies. The villains take over the forms of the feudal lords that rule the divided land, with the Joker taking the lead among the warring factions. As his traditional high-tech weaponry is exhausted almost immediately, Batman must rely on his intellect and his allies - including Catwoman and the extended Bat-family - to restore order to the land, and return to present-day Gotham City.

Shigeru Nagashima, known professionally as Choo, is a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator. His former stage name was Yuuichi Nagashima, he changed his stage name to Choo on August 23rd, 2006. He is a graduate of the Nishogakusha University Department of Literature and received training at Bungakuza's research establishment and the Seinenza Theater Company before attaching himself to Production Baobab in 1986. He transferred to the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society in 2007.

Choo's hobbies include badminton and jogging, and he is a licensed calligraphy instructor.

Thomas James Kenny is an American voice actor and comedian perhaps best known for his work in the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, in which he is the voice of SpongeBob, the narrator, and Gary among others. Aside from voice acting, Kenny was a cast member of the HBO sketch comedy program, Mr. Show and the short-lived Fox sketch show, The Edge, where he worked with Jill Talley, whom he subsequently married. He also hosts the show Funday Night at the Movies on TCM. This show tries to encourage kids to watch "old movies." Kenny got his start in comedy performing stand-up with people such as Wendell E.
