In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family.
 
Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a Demon Slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister.
 
Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.

Fairouz was born to a Japanese mother and an Egyptian father. She was named after the Lebanese singer, Fairuz. She spent a few years of her elementary education in Cairo before returning to Japan. During her junior high school years, she became familiar with the manga series [JoJo's Bizarre Adventure](https://anilist.co/manga/31517/). Due to her growing interest in the series, she would join Skype reading sessions with other fans. Eventually, she was inspired to pursue a career in voice acting, but her parents initially disapproved of her plans. Instead, she would initially study at a graphic design vocational school before spending a year as a dental assistant. Once she was able to save enough money for tuition, she enrolled in a voice acting training school.

In 2019, she debuted as [Hibiki Sakura](https://anilist.co/character/132856/), the protagonist of the anime series [How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?](https://anilist.co/anime/107226/)

In a Twitter post on 31st December 2024 she announced her indefinite hiatus from voice acting due to health complications surrounding PTSD.
