Alice McCoy is an animated fictional character who first appears in episode 44 of Digimon Tamers. She is 11 years old with blond hair, and blue eyes who dresses in the gothic lolita fashion style. Alice is voiced by Philece Sampler.    Alice is the granddaughter of Professor Rob McCoy, who keeps a photograph of her. She was sent to the Tamers by the Digimon Sovereigns to give them the ability to Biomerge in the real world, via the power of her partner Dobermon (he sacrificed his life to do this). After this episode Alice is not seen again.    Writings released by Chiaki J. Konaka, executive producer of Digimon Tamers seem to suggest that Alice &quot;passed on&quot; prior to her appearance in the series and what was seen was actually her ghost. There is little in the series to support this, but in a scene in When is a Mon Justimon?, she is seen fading into the air as she leaves the area. Takato Matsuda, Ruki Matsuno, and Lee Jenrya are children who have, by fate, received real Digimon, unlike the imaginary ones in the card game they play. Each of the children, or "Digimon Tamers", have their different views on how Digimon should be treated. But when other Digimon begin to appear around Japan, they must put aside their differences to fend off the digital intruders; even though Yamaki, who is the head of a secret organization called Hypnos is trying to eliminate all of the Digimon himself.

Yuka Imai  is a Japanese former voice actress who was previously represented by Gekidan Moonlight and by Atomic Monkey at the time of her retirement. On August 30, 2018, she announced her retirement from voice acting, due to various difficulties in her life such as her divorce and her son having pervasive developmental disabilities.

When three Digimon fans -- Rika, Henry, and our lead Takato -- suddenly find themselves with "real" Digimon, they discover a living creature under your care is far harder to deal with than a few pixels on your TV screen. The kids try to be Digimon 'Tamers,' aka Digimon caretakers, but they all seem to have different opinions on what that should entail. Rika thinks Digimon should fight, Henry thinks they should never fight, and Takato ... seems to be somewhere in the middle.
