He is the father of Black Star and the leader of the infamous Star Clan.  Much like Black Star, he was very bent towards being the best and winning every battle.  In the past, White Star was put into a very similar situation as Black Star in his battle with Mifune.  They were both asked by Mifune about which path (path of a Warrior or path of a Demon) they&#039;d rather take.  White Star did not answer, but Mifune was easily able to tell that White Star already took the path of a Demon.  Black Star simply said he&#039;d make his own path.  White Star was slain in battle by Mifune.

Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" which is the highest title for a weapon and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch. 
Maka &amp; Soul Eater, Black Star &amp; Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with Patty and Liz Thompson are the characters Soul Eater revolves around. Besides taking the time to gather souls, these students of Shibusen defend Death City from some of the most powerful of creatures while still attending school and trying to become stronger.

Troy Baker is an American actor and voice actor who works with anime films, television series, as well as video games. 

Before pursuing acting, Baker was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the indie-rock band Tripp Fontaine, which released the radio single "Burning Out" from their debut album "Random Thoughts On A Paper Napkin" in 2003.  

He is best known for his video game roles, including Joel Miller in The Last of Us franchise, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite. His voice can also be heard in video game titles including Tales of Vesperia, Brothers in Arms, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Transformers: War for Cybertron, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Catherine, Batman: Arkham City, and Saints Row: The Third.

Animation lovers will recognize him in shows such as Cartoon Network's Generator Rex and Disney XD's Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, as well as several popular anime series such as Naruto: Shippuden and Trinity Blood.

In order to make Soul Eater powerful enough to be Death's Weapon, he must eat the souls of 99 humans and 1 witch. Along the way, the two of them face many different challenges, including a cat witch named Blair (who happens to have a thing for Soul) and a teacher who's been turned into a zombie (and wants him to join her!). Her fellow students, like the shadow ninja weapon meister named Black Star who always needs to be the center of attention, aren't much help, either. It'll be a miracle if Maka even survives, let alone manages to make Soul Eater into the Death Scythe.
