The younger of the two twin maids in the Tohno mansion, Hisui is a childhood friend of Shiki. She wears a western maid uniform and attends to Shiki when he comes back to the Tohno mansion. She was a voice actress affiliated with 81 Produce. Matsuki was a graduate of Hiroshima Jogakuin Junior & Senior High School and Keio University where she majored from the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies. 

Her parents were officially against her becoming a voice actress but permitted her to move to Tokyo and visit the Keio University after she passed an entrance exam for it. After graduating from university she started pursuing her voice acting career and went at the same time to the Nichinare narration school and the Aksent voice acting school, where she later signed under after becoming professional.

She made her debut under her real name, Matsuki Mieko (松木美愛子) in 1988 on Nude Maker's PlayStation game Mikagura Shoujo Tanteidan. But changed shortly after to using a pseudonym instead as to protect her name.

In 2000 she passed an audition and became a member of newly established pop act Up Up under the Akatsuki Project label. In 2002 she got her first major role in an anime tv series, Shichinin no Nana. During the same year, in June, she quit Aksent and signed with talent agency 81 Produce. She became a regular on two radio shows, Sakurai Koubou and Cherry Bell in October 2002. The following years saw her involved with the Da Capo franchise a visual novel, adapted into an anime, where she played one of the main characters, Sagisawa Yoriko.

Matsuki had been under treatment for acute pneumonia since July 2015. She was diagnosed with a malignant lymphoma caused by the chronic active Epstein–Barr virus infection (CAEBV) and passed away on October 27th 2015. A posthumous charity event had its proceeds go to CAEBV research, which, along with the medical history of her rare case, has helped establish the disease's mechanism of infection and possible treatment.

Years later, when Shiki is in high school, the head of the Tohno household--his father--dies, and he is ordered to move back in by his sister Akiha, who is the new head of the household. However, Shiki holds a huge secret. Ever since that injury, he has been seeing lines on objects, and only with a special pair of glasses is he able to stop seeing them. Also he is unable to remember anything well from the time before his accident. The day he moves back to the Tohno household is the day he stumbles upon a woman named Arcueid Brunstud and decapitates her with one stab of his knife in a temporary fit of insanity. When she suddenly showed up beside him later alive and well, and ask him to be her bodyguard, Shiki's journey to unravel the mysteries of his past begins.

A new episode of Carnival Phantasm released on the Type-moon Fes - 10th Anniversary Event - Blu-ray.

Based on the Doujin Fighting game, 'Melty Blood', made by the Doujin group, Watanabe Seisakujyo now known as French Bread. The story is one of two side-story sequels that occurs approximately a year after the good ending story of Arcueid's from the original Type-Moon game, Tsukihime. 

One year has passed since the "Serial Vampire Homicide case", that occurred in Tsukihime, was solved. But now the rumors of the serial murder are happening again and so once more Shiki Tohno patrols the city to find this phantom killer. While patrolling he meets and fights a mysterious woman by the name of Sion Eltnam Atlasia, member of the church group 'Alchemist of Atlas', who is in search of curing vampirism. But to do so she needs data from Arcueid, the last True Ancestor, to help her in her research. But this wont be easy as Ciel is also patrolling the city looking for the rumored killer, while Akiha has been acting strangely the past few days and also Arcueid hasn't been seen for awhile, could she be the killer...?
