Shiki the Golden Lion (金獅子のシキ, Kinjishi no Shiki?), is a notorious pirate who is known to be the first prisoner to have ever escaped Impel Down. He was a pirate that wreaked havoc during Roger's time and is the main antagonist of the 10th One Piece Movie. His nickname, Kinjishi, means "golden lion."  Shiki is a pirate dressed in yellow traditional Japanese clothes. He has golden mane-like hair and on the top of his head is a part of steering wheel that got lodged into his head after his battle with Roger. Due to him cutting off his shackled legs to escape Impel Down, he has swords for prosthetic legs for which he can easily stand upon without much trouble. His overall design resembles a typical shogun.


Gold Roger was known as the Pirate King, the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. The capture and death of Roger by the World Government brought a change throughout the world. His last words before his death revealed the location of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece. It was this revelation that brought about the Grand Age of Pirates, men who dreamed of finding One Piece (which promises an unlimited amount of riches and fame), and quite possibly the most coveted of titles for the person who found it, the title of the Pirate King. 
Enter Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy that defies your standard definition of a pirate. Naoto Takenaka is a Japanese actor, comedian, singer, and director from Yokohama. One of his most notable roles was Hideyoshi in the 1999 NHK Taiga drama of the same name.

A veteran of almost a hundred films, he has been nominated for ten Japanese Academy Awards, winning Best Supporting Actor awards for Shiko funjatta, East Meets West, and Shall we Dansu?.

The story begins somewhere between the Thriller Bark arc and the Sabaody Archipelago arc. The main villain's name is "Golden Lion" Shiki. 20 years ago he lost a battle against Monkey D. Garp and Sengoku and was imprisoned in Impel Down, but managed to escape. After that he starts to collect his crew and steals Nami to make her his navigator. Luffy tries to get to Shiki's hideout to free his friend.

Set over 20 years prior to the main One Piece story, this limited release OVA chronicles the confrontation between Gold Lion Shiki and Gold Roger as well as other events around the world around the time of the Pirate King's execution. 

One Piece Strong World 0 is a one-shot story published in Weekly Shounen Jump as a special prologue chapter to the 10th One Piece movie, Strong World. This one-shot depicts events 20 years before the current timeline of the manga, One Piece. The main focus is the relationship between Shiki, the Golden Lion and Roger, the Pirate King. In addition, it shows what other characters were doing 20 years ago.
