A Japanese manga artist. He is most notable for having created [Yu Yu Hakusho](https://anilist.co/manga/30053/Yu-Yu-Hakusho/), for which he received the Shogakukan Manga Award in 1994, and [Hunter × Hunter](https://anilist.co/manga/30026/Hunter-x-Hunter/).
