Okudaira Sakiko is the mother of Akira and Shinobu.    She is long-time friends with Fumi&#039;s mother and the Manjoume family. Her relationship with Fumi&#039;s mother is rekindled when they move back, and she is rather excited to have her friend again.    She has a very close relationship with both her children as she is seen joking around with them and having conversations with them regularly. However, she is also rather stern and blunt. Whenever Akira and Shinobu fight, one glare from her is enough to quieten them. She often has to tell Shinobu to get a life and leave Akira alone.     Akiko was considered to be the &quot;outlaw&quot; of the family by Keiko, her very disapproving relative in Yokohama, whom she makes Akira go visit.

Fumi and Akira were close childhood friends until Fumi had to move away. Ten years after losing touch with each other, the two girls meet again as high school freshmen. The two struggle to reconnect after so much has changed, and both deal with the trials and tribulations of high school &mdash; sometimes independently and sometimes with each other&rsquo;s help.

A Mexican voice actress. She is best known for being the Latin American Spanish voice of Lois Griffin in _Family Guy_, Lindsay Monroe in _CSI: New York_, Cersei Lannister in _Game of Thrones_, and Cynthia in _Pokémon_. 

She's also the recurring dub voice of Laura Dern and Amy Ryan.

Fumi and Akira were best friends when they were little, with Akira always looking after the crybaby Fumi, but that all ended when Fumi's family moved away. Several years later, Fumi's family returned, and she and Akira happened to bump into each other on their way to school. They became friends again, quickly slipping back into old patterns. Shortly after, Fumi began dating a cool, attractive upperclassman who, coincidentally enough, had ties to Akira's current school, the prestigious Fujigaya Girls' Academy.
