Karen, the main character of Karen Bee, is one of [Koyomi](https://anilist.co/character/22036/Koyomi-Araragi)'s sisters. She is older than [Tsukihi](https://anilist.co/character/24195/Tsukihi-Araragi) and always doing outdoor activities. Despite being younger, Karen is taller than Koyomi, much to Koyomi's dismay.    

~!In Karen Bee, her hot-headed personality and her habit of acting before thinking lead her to be stung by a bee which leads to being poisoned with a terrible fever that lasted for 3 days. Like [Hitagi](https://anilist.co/character/22037/Hitagi-Senjougahara), she refused any help from anyone which eventually leads to her and Koyomi fighting each other. Later it was revealed that it was set up by [Kaiki](https://anilist.co/character/53641/Deishuu-Kaiki). Karen and Tsukihi are nicknamed Tsuga no Ki Nichū no Fire Sisters (栂の木二中のファイヤーシスターズ, lit. Fire Sisters of Tsuga no Ki 2nd Junior High). It was revealed that the reason she and Tsukihi found boyfriends was so that Koyomi would become jealous. They found boyfriends in Koyomi's image with Karen's boyfriend being shorter than her. She and Tsukihi also thought that Koyomi's girlfriend was [Tsubasa](https://anilist.co/character/22055/Tsubasa-Hanekawa). Koyomi, Karen and Tsukihi's parents were revealed to be police officers. !~

Thanks to Meme Oshino, Koyomi Araragi, a high school student, is able to remain a human after coming across a female vampire... However, since the incident, Koyomi seems to meet girls who have an apparition-related issue. Hitagi Senjougahara doesn’t weigh anything, Suruga Kanbaru’s right arm becomes like that of a monkey’s, and a young girl, Mayoi, cannot find her way home no matter how many times she tries. Koyomi, a Mr. Nice Guy, ends up helping each and every girl solve her problem with the help of Meme Oshino.

A Japanese voice actress and singer. She used to be a child actress by the name of Eri Okamura. 

She is primarily known for her role in Blood+ as Saya Otonashi and singing "Tsuyogari," the third ending for the anime series Konjiki No Gash Bell!! She is also known to be an amateur manga artist in Japan in her spare time. Kitamura is affiliated with talent agency Early Wing and was formerly affiliated with Kaleidoscope.

Currently works in the music unit ARTERY VEIN with Asami Imai. She also provides the voice of CUL, a VOCALOID who debuted in VOCALOID3.

Now that Koyomi Araragi and Hitagi Senjougahara have graduated, few familiar faces remain at Naoetsu Private High School. One of them is Suruga Kanbaru, holder of the Monkey's Paw. When she begins to hear talk of a mysterious being known as the "Devil," who will magically solve any problem, she immediately thinks these rumors are about her and decides to investigate.
 
Kanbaru discovers the Devil is actually Rouka Numachi, a former rival who provides free advice to those who seek her out now that she can no longer play basketball due to a leg injury. As a collector of misfortune, Numachi enjoys relieving her clients' stress by giving them false hope. Though Kanbaru sees no real harm being done, she reprimands Rouka for lying and heads home, relieved she is not the cause of the rumors. But the next morning, when she finds that her left hand has reverted back to its original form, she may have a reason to worry after all.
