Wanting to defeat the strongest man, Shun Kamiya, Taiga came to Neo Tokyo from beyond the sea. He joins Minato Tribe, but as a beginner in XB, Taiga has a difficult time learning the rules of the game.

In Neo Tokyo, disillusioned youth form tribes that battle each other in an intense game called Extreme Baseball. One night, two kids – Haru Shirogane and Taiga – meet the strongest XB Player Shun Kamiya.
