Nanako was an anime-only character who appeared in episode 152. She idolized Rei Hino and wanted to become a miko just like her. To fulfill this dream, Nanako followed Rei around and did everything just like her, but when she overheard Rei making disdainful comments about her (wrongfully thinking that Nanako was following her because she had no life), she became upset.    When she was leaving the shrine in tears, Nanako was attacked by VesVes for her Dream Mirror, but it turned out to be a blank. The Lemures of the day, ManeMane Musume, started mocking Nanako in front of the Senshi, revealing that she was insecure under her bubbliness. The weakened Nanako tearfully begged the monster to stop, which touched Sailor Mars&#039; heart, and she discovered her new power, Mars Flame Sniper. SuperS centers heavily on Chibi-usa and the Sailor Team. A new enemy, the Dead Moon Circus, has now appeared. Their motive is to find the Golden Dream Mirror that would be used to rule the world. To do this, the enemy attacks innocent victims for their Dream Mirrors and test their energy. Chibi-usa also has a new ally on her side, Pegasus. This season also sees the Sailor Senshi obtaining new powers.

Julie Lemieux is a Canadian voice actress. Her most recognizable roles are that of Sammy Tsukino, young Sapphire in SMR, a young Darien Chiba in the English version of the first Sailor Moon movie, and Peruru in the English dub of the SuperS movie.

Lemieux also played Funshine Bear in 2004's Care Bears: Journey to Joke-a-lot and 2005's The Care Bears' Big Wish Movie.

Lemieux also acted as Warren in Monster by Mistake and Toby of the new anime production Pandalian.
