Daigo Tsuwabuki is a skilled Pokémon trainer who is often shown as the champion of the Hoenn region's Pokémon League. The son of the president of Devon Corporation, Steven resides in Mossdeep City but usually spends his time wandering around Hoenn, enjoying his hobby of collecting rare stones. He specializes in Steel-type Pokémon, with his ace being a Metagross that can Mega Evolve.

The journey of Satoshi and his friends through the Kalos region continues! After Satoshi obtains his seventh gym badge, the group is moving toward the next town when Eureka discovers a mysterious Pokémon resting in her pochette. Soon given the name Puni-chan, it is one that even Satoshi and Serena's new Pokémon Zukan cannot identify. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Puni-chan is the target of a mysterious group clad in bright red suits known as Team Flare, aiming to capture the new Pokémon to further their agenda. But when Satoshi and the gang realize that the enigmatic organization has no intention of treating Puni-chan with any decency, they take a stand in opposition to Team Flare's plans, daring to fight back.
 
With Gojika's predictions looming above them, Satoshi aims for his final gym badge while Serena contests for her last Princess Key in order to be able to compete at the TriPokalon Master Class. But as Team Flare begins to move in search of the mysterious Z, the stories of Pokemon XY and Pokemon XY: Mega Evolution cross paths as Satoshi and his friends, along with Team Rocket, get caught up in a scheme that could put Kalos in great danger.

A new dream and adventure set throughout the entire Pokémon world unfolds in a brand new Pokémon-series following a girl named Liko and a boy named Roy.

After participating in the Johto League, Ash decides to begin anew in yet another journey; this time by himself and Pikachu, in the land of Hoenn. Though he isn't alone for long, as 10-year-old May (who dislikes Pokemon, but just wants to come along to see the world) travels with him after Pikachu destroys her bicycle. Ash also meets up with his old companion, Brock, and May's younger brother, Max. Together, they travel along in Hoenn, battling Gym Leaders, entering Contests, and other events on the way to the Hoenn League.

James Carter Cathcart, often credited as Carter Cathcart or Jimmy Zoppi, was an American voice actor, bassist and vocalist. He's best known for voicing Gary in Pokémon as well as James, Meowth and Professor Oak since Season 9. He is also known for voicing Vector in Sonic X.

On April 17th, 2023, he announced on his CaringBridge page that he will be retiring from voice acting and script adapting after Pokémon Journeys: The Series has finished, following his diagnosis with throat cancer in late January 2023.

James Carter passed away on July 8, 2025. News of his death was shared on July 11, 2025. His wife, Martha Jacobi, posted [the announcement on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/martha.jacobi/posts/10237042969514501) that day, and Erica Schroeder, who was the voice actor of Nurse Joy and Bianca, also offered her condolences in an Instagram post.

**Trond Teigen** is a Norwegian actor, singer and voice actor.

He started his career with the play *Treasure Island* at the Chateau Neuf in 1989, where he later also played Tony in *West Side Story* and Charley in *Charley's Aunt*. Here he also starred in *Hello Dolly, Sweet Charity* and *Oliver*.

At *Det Norske Teatret* in Oslo, Trond has appeared in *Sweeney Todd, Guten og Stjerna, Carousel, Musical Musikal, Black Rider, Piaf, An-Magritt, The Threepenny Opera, Which Witch, Norge-Brasil* and *Evita* among other things.

A Special Music Video in tribute to the Pokémon Series of Games, set to the song Acacia by Bump of Chicken.

This chapter features the journeys of Ruby and Sapphire who are trying to conquer all the Pokémon Contests and Gyms in Hoenn respectively within the span of 80 days. However, this gets interrupted by two new evil organizations, the land-loving Team Magma and the sea-loving Team Aqua. Sapphire and Ruby have to worry about something else, too: their feelings for each other.

This story revolves around a young trainer named Alan and his partner Lizadon (Charizard). Alan's objective on his journey is to "defeat all Mega Evolution Pokémon and stand at the top of the strongest summit." Along their journey Alan and Charizard meet and battle with Mega Absol and Mega Gaburias (Mega Garchomp). Additionally, Alan will battle with Zumi (Siebold), one of the Kalos Elite Four. The Pokémon Company streamed the "Mega Special Animation" short inspired by the upcoming Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire games on Sunday. The short features Pokémon undergoing the newly discovered Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion in the Hoenn region.
