Takashiro is first introduced as Yuki&#039;s older half-brother. When he meets Yuki for the first time, he tells him that he and his father had been looking for him ever since his birth fifteen years earlier. He is also the head of the Giou clan. Although it is not yet revealed, Takashiro seems to be hiding something from Yuki and the rest of the Guardians. The truth is he preformed a forbidden ritual that allowed him to take a dura into his body. Because of this he, unlike the other Zweilt Guardians, has not been reincarnated. Instead he has lived for a thousand years, remembering everything, including how the war with duras first began. He also heals almost immediately after being injured. He believes that in order to win the war, there have to be sacrifices. He possesses a magic book much like Kanata, although his is red. It has been told that Reiga was his friend. He is shown during a battle with Reiga to be able to regenerate himself without any help, and reveals to Yuki later that he used a forbidden spell on himself that put a duras inside his body, which is how he was able to heal, and that because of that duras, he is immortal and has lived over 1000 years. He is also the one responsible for continually causing Yuki and the Zwielt to reincarnate so they can continue fighting Reiga. He then apologizes for lying to Yuki, telling him that he is not really Yuki&#039;s brother, but Yuki forgives him, telling him that despite that, Takashiro is still very important to him.

Sakurai Yuki is an orphan with a mysterious ability. Found near the fence of his current home, the Asahi Orphanage, Yuki strives for independence. The last thing he wants is to be a burden on anybody. His ability makes this nearly impossible, however; whenever he touches someone, he feel their emotions and see the darkness within their hearts and exactly what caused such darkness. Unable to control his ability, Yuki has often made insensitive blunders while trying to empathize with the person he feels pain for. Now, however, with death threats clouding his judgement and his ability increasing immensely, what will happen when a man claiming to be Yuki's older brother appears?

Koyasu is the most prolific voice actor in the industry, having been credited for over 700 roles as of April 2022.

Growing up, Koyasu skipped out on going to school to watch movies at home because he wanted to become an actor. It wasn’t until later that he became interested in voice acting after having seen [Galaxy Express 999](https://anilist.co/anime/1491/). After graduation he entered a voice acting school. In 1988, he made his voice acting debut, and got his first regular role a year later voicing [Gai](https://anilist.co/character/13374/) in [Tenkuu Senki Shurato](https://anilist.co/anime/2113/).

Though having voiced more characters in the medium than anyone else, he is probably most known for his role as [Dio Brando](https://anilist.co/character/4004/) in [JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure](https://anilist.co/anime/14719/). He has stated that he likes playing villainous characters.

Koyasu has taken over many of [Kaneto Shiozawa](https://anilist.co/staff/95424/)’s roles after Shiozawa’s passing.
