She plays the role of a healer in the pair, but can not heal since all Jumis have become unable to cry (their tears heal their knights).    Pearl is a Jumi, which is a person who has a jewel core for a heart, which is visible on their chest.     ~!The reason Pearl gets lost in thought is that she often hears a voice. The voice is actually her true self, Black Pearl, who was originally a knight paired with Florina. !~
