Kou is Shou&#039;s older, but less mature cousin who occasionally offers advice to Shou. Some questions do arise about their differences in appearances. He was thought to be Shou&#039;s older brother until it was revealed Shou is adopted and Kō is the son of Shō&#039;s aunt and uncle, who adopted him after his parents died. Even though the two are not biological brothers, they still help each other whenever a situation arises. He may seem like a slob at home, but he dresses quite professionally when he goes out, often wearing suits when he goes to work. He works as the vice-president of a modeling agency, which earns him a significant amount of money. Since he dropped out of high school, his father is sometimes bitter about him making more money than his own father.

Everybody has a dream, and for Sho Kazamatsuri, that dream is simple: he wants to be the best soccer player he can possibly be. He's the spirited leader of the Josui Junior High team and everyone looks up to him. In turn, he tries to keep the team together at any cost!

Kazamatsuri Shou's dream has always been to become a professional soccer player, but he has one problem: he's not very good at the game. He was accepted to the prestigious Musashi no Mori Junior High, known for its top rate soccer team, but he was never able to rise beyond the rank of third stringer. After transferring to Sakura Jousui Junior High, he can finally play soccer. And, with the support of his new friends and teammates, his strong determination, and lots of hard work, his soccer skills are developing rapidly and setting Shou well on his way to achieving his dream.
