Her superhuman battle prowess and agility in combination with her powerful weapon-laden motorcycle &quot;Valkyrie&quot; allows her to support Dendoh in the flesh. Uses a whip-like weapon, throwing blades, and explosives with great skill.    She is actually Hokuto Kusanagi&#039;s mother Orie Kusanagi, who masks herself and wears a wig to disguise herself as Vega. Her appearance as Orie Kusanagi is also somewhat of a disguise, though, as she was an alien girl that crashed to earth with the Data Weapons and utilizes hair dye and contacts to conceal her original turquoise hair and eyes.

The story takes place in the future where war machines from evil mechanical alien empire Garufa finally reaches Earth. In order to protect earth, an Earth defense organization called GEAR (Guard Earth and Advanced Reconnaissance) is formed. GEAR has an ultimate weapon in a form of war mecha, GEAR Fighter Dendoh, which is piloted by two elementary school students, namely Kusanagi Hokuto and Izumo Ginga. Can the friendship between Hokuto and Ginga unleashed the full potential power of Dendoh in order to fight Garufa? <br><br>

A voice actress and narrator. She graduated from high school in 1986 and then entered Katsuta Seiyuu Academy. 

In 1989, Mitsuishi made her seiyuu debut as Tomoyo in the OVA [Ace o Nerae! Final Stage](https://anilist.co/anime/312/). She became an instant celebrity with her role as [Usagi Tsukino](https://anilist.co/character/2030) when [Sailor Moon](https://anilist.co/anime/530) debuted in 1992, and her popularity increased again with her role as [Misato Katsuragi](https://anilist.co/character/1259) in the anime TV series [Neon Genesis Evangelion](https://anilist.co/anime/30). She is considered one of the most influential seiyuu in the business; the animated adaptation of [Ebichu](https://anilist.co/anime/1060/) was largely produced because of her interest in the project, reading the manga out loud between takes of recording lines for Evangelion. Mitsuishi is a freelancer and a former member of the talent management firm Arts Vision. 

She is married and has one daughter.
