Helen Noguchi is a 16-year-old girl who is saved by Tar-chan from a crocodile. She is half Japanese and half American. Initially she is a rather bold character who is searching for summer experience and plans to let Tar-chan take her virginity, but she later becomes friends with both him and Jane and teaches them how to manage a rice field. She was Tar-chan's biggest fan, but switched to Pedro after first seeing him. She stops appearing soon after New Jungle King Tar-chan began, but suddenly reappears for the final story as a full-grown woman. In the anime her love interest is Pedro, but in the manga, she marries Chikō. 

Ta-chan is the king of jungle. He was abandoned in savanna, and has been raised by a chimpanzee, Etekichi. He has a dearest wife, Jane who used to be a top model in New York, but now she looks&hellip; Anyway, to protect animals from poachers, Ta-chan is fighting against them with his disciple, Pedro, and a master of Chinese martial arts, Ryo.<br><br>
This anime is based on the manga with the same title; it begins as a comical parody of Tarzan. The first several episodes are comedies, but the rest of the series consists of (rather) serious episodes.<br><br>

A voice actress and narrator. She graduated from high school in 1986 and then entered Katsuta Seiyuu Academy. 

In 1989, Mitsuishi made her seiyuu debut as Tomoyo in the OVA [Ace o Nerae! Final Stage](https://anilist.co/anime/312/). She became an instant celebrity with her role as [Usagi Tsukino](https://anilist.co/character/2030) when [Sailor Moon](https://anilist.co/anime/530) debuted in 1992, and her popularity increased again with her role as [Misato Katsuragi](https://anilist.co/character/1259) in the anime TV series [Neon Genesis Evangelion](https://anilist.co/anime/30). She is considered one of the most influential seiyuu in the business; the animated adaptation of [Ebichu](https://anilist.co/anime/1060/) was largely produced because of her interest in the project, reading the manga out loud between takes of recording lines for Evangelion. Mitsuishi is a freelancer and a former member of the talent management firm Arts Vision. 

She is married and has one daughter.
