Sora is [Kakeru's](https://anilist.co/character/282781/Niimi-Kakeru) younger sister and a first-year student. She spends most of her spare time hanging out at the protagonist's apartment, often threatening to move in, and sometimes makes him treat her to dinner. She has a selfish side, but her dedication to her brother is undeniable. She enjoys teasing [Miyako](https://anilist.co/character/282782/Kujou-Miyako) for her overly-serious demeanor, and also for her occasional slip-ups. When Sora awakens to her powers, she begins cooperating with Miyako and her brother on the investigation.

9-nine- is a tale of the town of Shiromitsugawa, host to mysterious Artifacts and the superpowers they bestow on their Users. A tale of growing trust and budding romance between the protagonist and the heroine, and also a murder mystery where they hunt down the culprit behind a series of supernatural murders.<br><br>

Atsumi Tanezaki is a Japanese voice actress who is formerly affiliated with the Toritori Office, and is now represented by Haikyo.

In an interview with Repotama, Atsumi revealed that she became interested in doing voice acting after watching the anime series [Sailor Moon](https://anilist.co/anime/530/Bishoujo-Senshi-Sailor-Moon). She explained that her acting in the episode was so impactful that it encouraged her to pursue a career in voice acting. She began to study voice acting at a training school after graduating from high school in her home prefecture, Oita, using funds she had gathered from several part-time jobs. 

In the interview, she also states that her favorite voice actresses are [Miyuki Sawashiro](https://anilist.co/staff/95099/Miyuki-Sawashiro) and [Mayumi Tanaka](https://anilist.co/staff/95075/Mayumi-Tanaka), and as a child, she attended a [Junko Iwao](https://anilist.co/staff/95289/Junko-Iwao) concert, where she had the opportunity to talk to Iwao. Upon expressing her desire to become a voice actress at a fan event, Iwao responded stating that she looked forward to being able to work with her.

On October 2nd, 2023, she announced her marriage to fellow voice actor [Yuu Miyazaki](https://anilist.co/staff/127155).

When the university town of Shiromitsugawa was struck by a large earthquake, the sacred treasure in the Hakuda Tsukumo Shrine was damaged and mysterious objects called ‘artifacts’ began to appear from a parallel world. These artifacts granted special abilities to those that possessed them. There was an incident where someone abused these powers and turned people into stone. Kakeru, who has a strong sense of responsibility, lent his assistance to Miyako in seeking the culprit.
