Yachiyo is another employee at the restaurant. She usually carries around a katana which, according to her, was made by her parents who used to be blacksmiths. Yachiyo is unaware that some of the customers, and even [Souta](https://anilist.co/character/24418/Takanashi-Souta), are intimidated by her blade.

She admires [Kyouko](https://anilist.co/character/24420/Shirafuji-Kyouko) considerably. She gets angry if anyone offers Kyouko food or tries to take her away, although is willing to allow Satou to feed her because she considers him trustworthy, much to his chagrin.

Set in a family restaurant in Hokkaido, the northern prefecture of Japan, 16-year-old high school student Souta Takanashi works part-time along with his strange co-workers: Popura Taneshima, a high school girl who's a year older than Souta, yet easily mistaken for an elementary/middle schooler, and Kyoko Shirafuji, the 28-year-old store manager who doesn't bother to do any work at all.

A Japanese voice actress and singer. She used to be a child actress by the name of Eri Okamura. 

She is primarily known for her role in Blood+ as Saya Otonashi and singing "Tsuyogari," the third ending for the anime series Konjiki No Gash Bell!! She is also known to be an amateur manga artist in Japan in her spare time. Kitamura is affiliated with talent agency Early Wing and was formerly affiliated with Kaleidoscope.

Currently works in the music unit ARTERY VEIN with Asami Imai. She also provides the voice of CUL, a VOCALOID who debuted in VOCALOID3.
