Goes to school with Kida and Mikado and is a member of the Dollars gang. He is thought to be a bit of a rebel, but actually spends most of his time alone, composing music on his harmonica.      ~!He is a victim of violence at the hands of a group of people from the Yellow scarves, headed by Horada. In the scuffle, his arm and Harmonica is broken. He claims to quit Dollars after this incident, but instead stays around and ends up helping Anri escape from Horada later on.!~

In Tokyo's downtown district of Ikebukuro, amidst many strange rumors and warnings of anonymous gangs and dangerous occupants, one urban legend stands out above the rest—the existence of a headless "Black Rider" who is said to be seen driving a jet-black motorcycle through the city streets.<br><br>
Ryuugamine Mikado has always longed for the excitement of the city life, and an invitation from a childhood friend convinces him to move to Tokyo. Witnessing the Black Rider on his first day in the city, his wishes already seem to have been granted. But as supernatural events begin to occur, ordinary citizens like himself, along with Ikebukuro's most colorful inhabitants, are mixed up in the commotion breaking out in their city.<br><br>

Samuel Brent Oscar Riegel is a voice actor, writer and director who appears in many television cartoons, anime, and video games. He began as a child actor in theater in Virginia, and moved to New York City to perform in Broadway and off-Broadway shows. In 1994, he graduated from the Professional Children's School on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. After graduating from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, he returned to New York to begin his voice acting career. He now resides in Los Angeles, CA.  

He is the older brother of [Eden Riegel ](https://anilist.co/staff/107937/Eden-Riegel) and the younger brother of Tatiana Riegel.  He was in New York City on September 11, 2001, and he recorded the attacks on the World Trade Center with his video camera.  He is best known for his role of Donatello from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003 series).
