An exorcist from Bodrum who, despite his love of playing pranks on the other members of the order (i.e. using his Innocence to crack Tiedoll's glasses), was described by Tiedoll as &quot;a good kid.&quot; He was a disciple of Tiedoll and was on his rescue team along with Yu Kanda and Noise Marie. His anti-akuma weapon was a projectile ball which was wielded much like a soccer ball called the &quot;Charity Bell&quot; (隣人ノ鐘). The Charity Bell was capable of easily destroying Akuma level 2 by resonating inside the Akuma's body. While on his mission to find General Tiedoll, he encountered Tyki Mikk and was found the next morning hung in an upside-down cross fashion from a streetlamp, missing an internal organ and the Charity Bell. His design appears to have been inspired by court jesters of the European Middle Ages. His name is sometimes translated as Deesha Berry.

A born exorcist, Walker's primary anti-akuma weapon is the cross that's embossed on his red, disfigured left hand, which contains Innocence. But not only does Walker destroy akuma, he sees the akuma hiding inside a person's soul! Together with his fellow exorcists fighting under the command of the Black Order, Walker leads the battle against the Millennium Earl, the evil being out to destroy mankind.

Towards the end of the 19th century, Allen Walker officially joins the organization of Exorcists that destroy the beings known as Akuma; mechanic weapons made by the Millennium Earl with the suffering souls of the dead. Allen has both a cursed eye and an anti-Akuma weapon as an arm, bearing the power of "Innocence", a gift given to him as an apostle of God. Allen, along with his fellow Exorcists must put a stop to the Millennium Earl's ultimate plot that could lead to the destruction of the world and all who live on it.
