Kiui and Mahiru have been friends since childhood. Operating under the persona of the Vtuber "Nox Ryugasaki," Kiui consistently promotes their belief in being the strongest individual. Kiui is adept at swiftly mastering any task, and all the skills they display as a Vtuber are their own.

However, these differences have led to them feeling somewhat out of place among peers. Mahiru is the only person with whom Kiui feels comfortable discussing the past without reservation, and is always willing to help dear friends.

Shibuya is a city full of identity. It is here on Shibuya’s late night streets that illustrator Mahiru Kozuki, former idol Kano Yamanouchi, Vtuber Kiui Watase and composer Mei Kim Anouk Takanashi — four young women who are slightly outside the world — join together and form an anonymous artist group called JELEE. “I” also want to shine like someone else. If it's not me but “we” then we might be able to shine.

The Grand Prix winner of the 2014 Seiyuu Artist Training Program Selection competition, which was sponsored by Amuse and Ken Production. After being scouted by six talent agencies, she eventually joined Amuse.

She made her voice acting debut in 2015, voicing a number of unnamed characters in Himouto Umaru-chan.
