Yahiro Ifukube  is the best friend of Motoka Nogisaka, and the proprietor of a family owned candy store. The rough looking Yahiro would rather prefer spending her time sleeping and drinking than doing anything else. The ill tempered and sardonic mannerisms that she often displays hides her true personality; a woman whose past is a field littered with the shattered glass of lost dreams, forgotten promises, and broken romances.

Haruka Kasugano and his twin sister Sora have lost both their parents in an accident, and with them all their support. They decide to move out of the city to the rural town where they once spent summers with their late grandfather. At first everything seems familiar and peaceful, but changes come as Haruka starts to remember things from his youth.<br><br>

She is a freelance voice actress (seiyuu), who formerly worked for Pro Fit, Arts Vision and Office Mori. She is good friends with fellow actress [Harumi Sakurai](https://anilist.co/staff/96133).

The story is set in the distant mountain village of Okukozome-chou. Kasugano Haruka and his twin sister Sora have fond childhood memories of going to the village to visit their grandfather during their summer vacations. However, after losing their parents in an accident, the two must move in with their grandfather.<br><br>
The twins get reacquainted with their old childhood friend Yorihime Nao, their new classmate Nakazato Ryouhei, the shrine maiden Amatsume Akira, and Akira’s friend Migiwa Kazuha. All seems peaceful and familiar. However, beneath the surface is a secret promise that the twins made with each other long ago, the whereabouts of an important lost item, and the real reason they chose to come back here.
