Kaede, an ordinary high school girl, suddenly wakes up in an unfamiliar alleyway—only to realize she's been transported to a mysterious world inhabited by beastmen, elves, and dragons. Among her belongings, she discovers a strange book that wasn't there before. To her surprise, it allows her to create potions simply by chanting the word "create." Relying on these potions to survive, Kaede navigates the challenges of this fantastical world while clinging to the hope of one day returning to Japan. Her journey of struggle and discovery in this otherworldly realm is just beginning...

Hondo had an interest in anime from a young age, in particular the [Naruto](https://anilist.co/anime/20/) series. She became interested in acting and modelling while in elementary school. She made her voice acting debut in 2015, and later that same year, she was cast in her first main role as [Kokoro Yotsuba](https://anilist.co/character/134716/), the protagonist of the anime series [Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama](https://anilist.co/anime/21237/).

She won Best New Actress at the 13th Seiyuu Awards for her role as [Hitomi Mishima](https://anilist.co/character/89230/).

To her surprise, it worked. With nothing but her potion-making skills to rely on, Kaede begins building a new life in this unfamiliar world. Her creations sell for good money, and for a while, things are peaceful. But everything changes when she crosses paths with a traveling party—leading to chance encounters, dragons, and choices she never expected to face.
