The wife of Karasu Tengu and mother of Kuromarou, Sasami and Tosakamaru. She is shown to be a very beautiful, albeit extremely violent woman who lives alone on Mount Takao and does not fail to scold her husband and children when they come home, which is once every year. She seems to think of family as a very important thing, as she scolds her children for not thinking of their family much, saying that though they live at the main house, their home is on the mountain.

Rikuo grew up in a house full of yokai, so he always thought they were cool. But the kids in his class talk about yokai like they're bad! When his grandfather announces Rikuo as his chosen heir to run the Nura clan, Rikuo is torn between his human nature and his duties as a yokai. The rest of the clan's not so crazy about a wimpy part-human as their ruler, particularly Gagoze, a high-ranking yokai who would rather eat a human than be ruled by one.

The story begins at about 100 years after the disappearance of Otome Yamabuki, Rihan Nura's first wife. Rihan has finally pulled himself together and his life returns to normal. As the head of the Nura Clan, he's busy working on building a harmonious world for humans and youkais. One day, he sees Setsura being upset so he decides to cheer her up by taking the clan to go enjoy the hot spring where Setsura makes up her mind to tell Rihan that she met Otome once after she left him about 100 years ago. She tells him the message that Otome left for him and the truth is...? <br><br>

She is a popular Japanese singer-songwriter and voice actress (seiyuu), currently affiliated with Amuleto (as seiyuu) and with King Records (as songstress). Affectionately called Yukarin by her fans, she is also known for her soft voice and interest in Lolita fashion. She made her debut as a voice actress in 1997, releasing her debut single Yuuki wo Kudasai on March 26, 1997.
While also a well-known seiyuu, several of her releases have been used as opening and ending themes for anime series, while some have reached the Oricon top 100 singles and album charts. Her role as Takamachi Nanoha in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series contributed to a rise in her popularity, as several of her singles (Little Wish: Lyrical Step, Spiritual Garden, Hoshizora no Spica, Beautiful Amulet) were used as the ending themes for the franchise's anime adaptations.
