Chitose is a very busty third year middle schooler who is also the President of the Soft Tennis Club.  She loves to hunt for food (often endangered species) and has a lot of dietary knowledge as well as a high ability to analyze other soft tennis player styles and weak points.    Even though she is the president of the club and has a great ability to analyze other players, her clumsiness denies her the ability to hit a tennis ball that is served to her unless she thinks of the ball (usually white) as a rice cake or daifuku.    She spends a lot of her time naked with wild animals.

The tennis comedy centers around the members of a female middle school soft tennis team and the twists and turns that their lives take as they aim for the nationals.

She married on December 5, 2012, her 32nd birthday, but later announced her divorce on April 30, 2020.

She was part of the seiyuu unit with [Hitomi Nabatame](https://anilist.co/staff/95184/) called "Hitomi Nabatame to Shizuka Itou" (生天目仁美と伊藤静) under Geneon's cosmic★motion label. Together they are known by the name Hitoshizuku (ひとしずく).
