Graf is the butler of the the Guild House of Hamilton, which was one of three purged by Maestro Delphine Eraclea. He is the steward of the family&#039;s Mysterion and turns it over to Alex Row for safekeeping following the Horizon Cave vanship race and auction.

It's the dawn of the Golden Age of Aviation on planet Prester, and retro-futuristic sky vehicles known as vanships dominate the horizon.
