He was suppose to marry Rias in an arranged marriage between the Gremory and Phenex family but Issei disagreed and challenged him to a battle. Issei got beaten in one hit by one of his Pawns.  Rias then agreed to have a Rating Game with Raiser to settle the matter of the marriage and get revenge for attacking Issei.   ~!He defeated Rias in the Rating Game by beating up Issei until Rias surrendered. He was then beaten by Issei in the wedding ceremony using a combination of his Balance Breaker and using the Boosted Gear to amplify the effects of holy water and a cross which he brought with him. !~

Issei Hyodo is your average perverted high school student whose one wish in life is to have his own harem, but he's got to be one of the unluckiest guys around. He goes on his first date with a girl only to get brutally attacked and killed when it turns out the girl is really a vicious fallen angel. Koyasu is the most prolific voice actor in the industry, having been credited for over 700 roles as of April 2022.

Growing up, Koyasu skipped out on going to school to watch movies at home because he wanted to become an actor. It wasn’t until later that he became interested in voice acting after having seen [Galaxy Express 999](https://anilist.co/anime/1491/). After graduation he entered a voice acting school. In 1988, he made his voice acting debut, and got his first regular role a year later voicing [Gai](https://anilist.co/character/13374/) in [Tenkuu Senki Shurato](https://anilist.co/anime/2113/).

Though having voiced more characters in the medium than anyone else, he is probably most known for his role as [Dio Brando](https://anilist.co/character/4004/) in [JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure](https://anilist.co/anime/14719/). He has stated that he likes playing villainous characters.
