Youth is the pilot of the Sophia. He has a strong hatred towards mazoku, particularly Geraid, because of an event in his childhood. 

Dan wishes to have exciting battles like in Grand Rolo again. He gets his chance when Mai invites him to the future, where the humans are being conquered by demons.<br><br>
There, he joins the crew of The Beautiful Sophia, and creates a deck based upon the newest type of cards, Brave.<br><br>

Commonly referred to as Kakkii by fans, Kakihara is a voice actor and a singer. As the latter, he is a member of Kiramune (music label) and represents the color of green. He was inspired to become a voice actor by [Yuuji Ueda](https://anilist.co/staff/95058/Yuuji-Ueda)'s performance in the Tokimeki Memorial dating sim game, and moved from Germany to Japan at age 18 to pursue his dream.

Kakihara speaks Japanese, English and German.
