Yurume, an 18-year-old "ronin" and recent high school graduate, has high hopes of being accepted and attending Tokyo University. She moves into an apartment complex, the Maison du Wish, located on the outskirts of Tokyo where other ronins living there are studying for upcoming college acceptance exams. 

After graduating high school, Yurume moved to Tokyo to prepare to take her college entrance exam. For better or for worse, veteran exam failures await her in her new apartment. Attended Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyuujo before becoming affiliated with her first management company. She works for Link Plan and was formerly affiliated with I'm Enterprise and Assemble Heart. Because of her strong voice, she often voiced tsundere characters.

She married voice actor [Yuuki Kaji](https://anilist.co/staff/95672/) on her 30th birthday in 2019. On June 30, 2022 she announced that she was expecting her first child with Kaji.

The continuation of Yurumates 3D right after the first season. 

Aida Yurume is a ronin student who came to Tokyo to prepare for university entrance exam. But the place was a back district, where the address Tokyo is so ill-fitting. The residents of the apartment are Kawano Sae, a veteran ronin with straight-man character, Tanaka Kumi, an innocent-looking girl and Matsukishi, a young man looking twice as his age. The story depicts their slow and comfortable life of preparing for university.
